The aircraft was on Dakar airport (Senegal) and ready for a passenger flight. During taxi for takeoff, the aircraft's left landing gear collapsed, allowing the engine to strike the taxiway. A fuel line was ruptured, leading to an engine fire, which spread to the wing, causing substantial damage. The aircraft was written off. None of the 186 people onboard were injured.
