Lion Airlines - MD-82 |
The MD-82, on a passenger flight from Jakarta, with an intermediate stop in Surabaya, to Solo (Indonesia). On landing at Solo, the plane overran the runway, crashed through the airport perimeter fence, and came to rest in a graveyard. The forward portion of the fuselage was heavily damaged, and consumed by fire. 26 out of the 153 people onboard died.
