The chopper crash in a grass field after the tail rotor broke. The helicopter has probably been shot down by enemy forces.

Looks like a Mil-8. Linkage to tail rotor is prone to flexing
which leads to it breaking at u-joint near the tail. When this
happens the tail often seperates and the forward section is
driven into the fuel tanks and cause such explosions.
