Air Philippines Boeing 737-2H4 plane crash

The plane was on a passenger flight to Davao (Philippines). It had been cleared for approach to runway 23 at Davao. Shortly after the crew reported 7 NM on final, the aircraft crashed into terrain, disintegrated and caught fire. The accident site is around 500 feet above sea level; at that point the altitude of the aircraft should have been 1500 feet. Weather was said to have been fair with a low cloud ceiling. All the 131 passengers and crew members perished.
