About this video
Seen from inside. This accident occurred on January 12th 2001. An undetermined reason caused the engine of the Bell 206B helicopter to flame out. The pilot performs an autorotation, but low airspeed and altitude made it difficult. The helicopter struck the ground hard and slid 20 to 30 feet. It spun around and rolled over on its right side. The pilot and both passengers were injured.
