The prototype of the Ilyushin Il-112V crashed during a test flight following an engine fire

August 17th 2021 - This prototype of the Ilyushin Il-112V military transport aircraft took off from Kubinka Air Base, Russia, for a test flight. A fire developed in the right engine 4 minutes later. The plane nose dropped while the aircraft rolled inverted at low altitude. The plane crashed in a wooded area. All the three occupants were killed.
