Brake failure causes the plane to fall off the carrier

This Vought A-7 Corsair II suffered a brake failure, causing it to roll off the carrier deck. The pilot ejected safely.

This was not Brake failure. See the flaps they are up which means it is in flight configuration and on the A-7 flaps up no stearing or brakes, flaps down you can charge brakes and stearing works.
