Learjet 60 plunges vertically near West Palm Beach, Florida, USA

On November 1, 2026, a Learjet 60 operating a private flight from Austin, Texas, to the Bahamas suddenly lost altitude while cruising. The aircraft entered an almost vertical descent before crashing into a residential area of Greenacres, near West Palm Beach, Florida (United States). All nine occupants were killed in the accident.
