Alaska Central Express Beechcraft 1900C plane crash

The Beechcraft 1900C cargo plane, operated by Alaska Central Express, took of from Sand Point Municipal Airport, AK, USA, bound to Anchorage, AK, USA. Two crewmembers were onboard. The plane crashed shortly after take off, killing both crewmembers.

The cargo plane was was carrying a load of fish and mail. It was destroyed when it crashed into the water shorlty after takeoff. Sand Point is an island on the south side of the Alaska Peninsula, about 550 miles southwest of Anchorage.
