Updated on

The Tupolev TU-134A operated by Altyn Air (alias Kyrgyzstan Altyn) took off from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan for a passenger flight to Osh, Kyrgyzstan. 82 passengers and 6 crewmembers were onboard. The plane crash-landed on Osh's airport. 31 people received injuries.

The airplane landed hard in dense fog. The hard landing caused the right main gear to collapse. This resulted in the right main wing separation and the airplane rolling on its back. A fuel leak on the left wing ignited a fire, which was quickly extinguished by airport emergency services.
