TANS Fokker F-28 plane crash

The aircraft was on a passenger flight from Chiclayo to Chachapoyas. A few minutes before landing at its destination airport, the crew declared an emergency. The aircraft disappeared from radar screens shortly thereafter. The plane crashes atop a hill north of Chachapoyas in an area known as Cerro Coloque, 10,900 feet above sea level. All 46 passengers and crew members were killed.
