The Let L-410 operated by South West Aviation took off from Juba, South Sudan, to Yirol, South Sudan. 20 passengers and 3 crewmembers were onboard. The plane crashed in a river shortly before landing at Yirol airport, about 1,75 NM south of the aerodrome. 20 occupants were killed in the accident, and 3 received serious injuries. The plane had been overhauled in 2016-2017 after having been stored for eight years.
