off Sand Point, AK, USAThe Beechcraft 1900C cargo plane, operated by Alaska Central Express, took off from Sand Point Municipal Airport, AK, USA, bound for Anchorage, AK, USA. Two crewmembers were onboard. The plane crashed shortly after takeoff, killing both crewmembers.

The cargo plane was carrying a load of fish and mail. It was destroyed when it crashed into the water shortly after takeoff. Sand Point is an island on the south side of the Alaska Peninsula, about 550 miles southwest of Anchorage.
