The Embraer ERJ 170-100LR operated by Enugu Air was performing scheduled passenger flight from Lagos, Nigeria, to Benin City, Nigeria. There were 63 passengers and 5 crewmembers onboard. While landing on Runway 05 at Oba Akenzua II Airport in Benin City, the aircraft overran the end of the runway and continued into the unpaved area beyond it. All three landing-gear assemblies separated from the aircraft during the runway excursion. All 68 occupants evacuated without injury.

The Embraer EMB-120ER operated by Transafrican Air Limited and identified as an EBB Air aircraft, departed Nairobi-Jomo Kenyatta, Kenya, on a commercial passenger charter flight to Mandera, Kenya. There were 32 passengers and four crew members on board. The aircraft overran runway after landing. It struck the airport perimeter fence, a thicket and a small embankment, coming to rest 89 metres beyond the runway end. All 36 occupants evacuated. One crew member sustained minor injuries.

The Embraer ERJ-145 operated by AirJet Angola was performing a charter flight to Kolwezi (Democratic Republic of the Congo), following a stopover in Lubumbashi (Democratic Republic of the Congo). There were 26 passengers and 3 crew members on board. During landing at Kolwezi Airport, both main landing gear assemblies collapsed and the aircraft veered off the runway before catching fire. All 29 occupants evacuated the aircraft and no injuries were reported.

The Embraer ERJ-190 operated by Azerbaijan Airlines took off from Baku, Azerbaijan, for a passenger flight to Grozny, Russia. 62 passengers and 5 crew members were onboard. The aircraft had diverted from Grozny to Aktau, Kazakhstan, due to low visibility and attempted an emergency landing at Aktau's airport about one hour after the aborted approach to Grozny. The aircraft was turning onto final approach when it impacted ground. The plane burst into flames. 38 occupants were killed, and 29 occupants survived.

The Embraer EMB-120 operated by Halla Airline took off Garowe, Puntland, for a passenger flight to Mogadishu (Somalia). 30 passengers and 4 crewmembers were onboard. When the aircraft landed on Mogadishu's airport, the left main gear collapsed causing the aircraft to veer left off the runway, pivoted to the left at almost 180° until it crashed against the perimeter fence, coming to rest broken in two. One occupant received minor injuries.

The Embraer EMB-120 operated by East African Express Airways took off from Mogadishu, the capital and most populous city of Somalia, for a charter freight flight. It made an intermediate stop in Baidoa, Somalia, and took off again to Berdale, Somalia. 3 passengers and 3 crewmembers were onboard. The plane was shot down while on approach to its final destination. The Embraer subsequently crashed and burst into flames. All 6 occupants were killed.

The Embraer ERJ-145 operated by CommutAir on behalf United Express took off from Newark, NJ, USA for a passenger flight to Presque Isle, ME, USA. 28 passengers and 3 crewmembers were onboard. The plane slid off the right side of the runway just after landing. All gear collapsed. The plane stopped next to the runway, in snow. A pilot and three passengers received minor injuries.

The Embraer ERJ-190 operated by Aeromexico Connect was supposed to take off from Durango, Mexico, for a passenger flight to Mexico City, Mexico. 99 passengers and 4 crewmembers were onboard. The plane rejected takeoff from Durango's airport in adverse weather, and veered left off the runway, overran the end of the runway and burst into flames. All the occupants survived. 2 people received serious injuries, 83 people received minor injuries. The aircraft has been destroyed. The plane was accelerating on the runway and had already reached a high speed, close to V1, high speed when the crew decided to abort the takeoff. The plane never became airborne. It veered off the runway, ran through rough terrain causing substantial damage to the aircraft including both engines detaching from the airframe. The aircraft came to a stop and the crew instructed to evacuate. A fire broke out a few minutes later, consuming the aircraft. A Thunderstorm was moving across Durango airport at the time of the accident.

The Embraer EMB-120 operated by Air Guicango took off from Dundo, Angola, for a medical flight to Luanda, Angola. 4 passengers and 3 crewmembers were onboard. The plane crashed around 20 minutes after takeoff. All 7 occupants were killed. The twin-engine EMB-120 was carrying three crew members, two medics, a company employee and a South African patient, suffering malaria symptoms. The plane was enroute about 15 minutes into the flight when the crew declared emergency reporting an engine failure followed by fire. About 5 minutes later, radio contact was lost. The wreckage was found the following day at 320 km (175 NM) from Dundo. There was no survivor.

The Embraer ERJ-190 operated by LAM Linhas Aereas de Mocambique took off from Maputo, Mozambique, for a passenger flight to Luanda, Angola. 27 passengers and 6 crewmembers were onboard. The plane disappeared from radar screens while it was en-route to its destination. The aircraft was found crashed and burnt down the following morning, on Namibia's territory in the Bwabwata National Park. All 33 occupants perished. The Embraer ERJ-190 was enroute at FL380 (approximately 11,400 meters high) when it began to descend at about 100 feet (30m) per second (6000 feet (1800m) per minute), it remained visible on radar until an altitude of about 3000 feet (900m). Radio contact was lost also at that moment. The wreckage is spread out on a small surface: this shows the plane impacted the ground violently with a high vertical speed. The aircraft had entered service with the airline on Nov 17th 2012 and had since accumulated 2905 flight hours in 1877 flight cycles. The aircraft had undergone its last inspection on Nov 28th 2013, the day before the accident. The cockpit voice recorder and flight data recorder revealed, that the captain was alone on the flight deck, banging on the flight deck door could be heard on the cockpit voice recorder. The autoflight systems (autothrottle and autopilot) were engaged. There were sounds and clicks consistent with a person knowledgeable of the aircraft systems commanding the engines to idle thrust and selecting the autoflight systems into a descent at 6000 feet per minute. Numerous warnings and alerts were not responded to. The conclusion is that the captain intentionally crashed aircraft.

The Embraer EMB-120ER operated by Inter Iles took off from Moroni, Comoros Islands, for a charter flight to Anjouan, Comoros Islands. 25 passengers and 4 crewmembers were onboard. The plane lost height after takeoff and impacted water. All the occupants survived the accident, and 2 of them received minor injuries. The plane took off normally. Seconds after being airborne the crew declared an emergency and requested to return to Moroni. During the turn, the plane lost height and needed to ditch in the Indian Ocean. The EMB-120 impacted waters about 200 meters off the coast about 5km north of the airport. Local fishermen rescued all occupants of the aircraft alive. The aircraft had been completely overhauled and refurbished in Europe, the last inspection by European inspectors had happened a week before the accident.

The Embraer ERJ-145 operated by Passaredo Transportes Aereos LTDA, performing flight from Sao Paulo Guarulhos, Brazil to Vitoria da Conquista, Brazil with 24 passengers and 3 crew, crashed on landing at Vitória da Conquista Airport. Two passengers received minor injuries, the other occupants remained uninjured. The airplane received substantial damage. The plane was performing a visual approach to runway 15. But the plane touched down short of runway, the tail hitting the ground first. This missed landing caused the entire landing gear to be ripped off the aircraft that went out of control and skidded on its belly onto the runway and veered off the runway before coming to a stop. Both engines were hit hard and received serious damage. The right hand engine burst into flames which were doused by airport fire services. The aircraft received also heavy damage to its underbelly and wings and horizontal stabilizer.

The Embraer ERJ-190 operated by Henan Airlines took off from Harbin, China, for a passenger flight to Yichun, China. There were 91 passengers and 5 crewmembers on board. The plane crashed on landing at Yichung airport. 42 people perished, 7 people received serious injuries and 47 minor injuries. At the time of the accident, fog prevailed with a visibility of 300 meters (1000 ft) on Yichun's Moon Mountain Municipal Airport. The airplane was cleared to land, the crew reported they had the approach lights in sight. The plane impacted terrain about 1500 meters (4900 ft) short of runway, slid on the grass and split apart. The aircraft came to a rest approximately 500 meters (1650 ft) from the runway. A passenger said, that it had been a very smooth flight when the airplane touched down hard and was rocked around. The airplane was distorted and holes were in the fuselage after it came to a stand still. The passenger climbed out of a hole. About 1 or 2 minutes after stand still the airplane erupted in huge ball of fire.

The Embraer 120ER belonging to Airnorth took off from Darwin Airport, Australia, for a training flight. The plane was intended to return a Darwin Airport after the flight. Two airmen were on the plane. The aircraft crashed seconds after takeoff at the airport's boundary, killing both crewmembers. The crew of the turboprop plane was conducting a training flight. During take-off, they had performed a simulated engine-failure exercise manoeuvre, a manoeuvre considered as a routine training exercise. But seconds after takeoff, the aircraft veered off course, crashed in bushland and burst into flames. Witnesses saw the plane banked sharply and plunged into the ground. Then a loud bang was heard, followed by several small explosions. A huge plume of smoke could be seen for several kilometres after the crash.

The Embraer EMB-110P1 operated by Manaus Aerotáxi departed the Brazilian Amazon city of Coari on a domestic flight to the inland Brazilian Amazon basin's largest city, Manaus. 26 passengers and 2 crewmembers were onboard. Moments before reaching Manaus, the captain decided to return to Coari due to weather conditions prevailing en-route. The plane crashed shortly afterward, killing 24 people onboard. The pilot contacted Manaus ATC about one hour after takeoff. He stated his intentions of returning to Coari due to heavy rainfall en route. Contact with the flight was lost shortly afterward. It is suspected the plane suffered an engine failure and it was forced to make an emergency landing. Authorities suspect the plane tried to make an emergency landing at the Panamacapuru airport but went down instead in the River Manacapuru (between Santo Antonio and the island of Montecristo, some 80 kilometers (50 miles) from Manaus). Rescue personnel found four passengers alive. 22 people including both crewmembers were killed.

The aircraft, on a passenger domestic flight from Tefé to Manaus (Brazil) crashed into the Amazon about 9 miles from the airport in Manaus while on final approach.

The aircraft, on a passenger flight from Cruzeiro do Sul to Rio Branco, crashed approximately a mile short of the runway at Rio Branco while on approach in poor weather conditions. A windshear is probably the root cause of the accident. Among de 31 people aboard, 23 were killed.

The aircraft departed Madrid-Barajas Airport for a cargo flight to Bilboa (Spain). Some 35 miles (60 kilometers) from its destination of Bilboa, the aircraft crashed into Santa María Vieja mountain. Weather was reported poor at the time of the accident.
