July 10th, 2006 - This TU-134 was taking off from Gvardeyskoye (Ukraine) Air Base when nr.1 engine failed and caught fire, possibly as a result of a bird strike. Takeoff was aborted but the Tupolev overran the runway and burst into flames. All 20 occupants survived, but 3 were injured.
